Last week, the first images of the upcoming Nokia 8 high end phone appeared online showing us what to expect when the phone makes its official debut.
At the time, rumors suggested that the phone would be unveiled on the last day of this month, but according to the latest reports, the upcoming Nokia 8 flagship will be announced on August 16, which is about three weeks from now.
Apparently, the Finnish company has already started sending out press invitations for an event that will take place in London and even though there’s no specific mention of the upcoming Nokia 8, sources close to the company are adamant that this high end phone will be unveiled on this day.
From what we’ve already heard, the upcoming Nokia 8 will feature a 5.3-inch QHD display screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset mated with either 4GB or 6GB RAM alongside 64GB of expandable internal storage. The recent partnership with Carl Zeiss optics will be evident on the 13MP dual-lens setup to be used on the phone and for the software, Android 7.1 Nougat is expected to run the show out of the box.
The HMD Global event is scheduled to take place starting 7.30 PM London time.
