Tecno unveiled the Camon CX alongside a slimmed-down variant dubbed Camon CX Air a few months ago.
The two have seen quite an impressive reception, but as usual, the price aspect has been a hindrance for some out there. Where the high-end Tecno Camon CX exchanges hands for about Ksh 17,500, you need about Ksh 15,000 to get your hands on the Camon CX Air.
If you have been dreaming of owning the entry-level Camon CX Air, well, Avechi has a great deal for you. Rather than pay the usual Ksh 13,499, the retailer is now selling the CX Air at a discounted price of Ksh 12,899, saving you a small fortune of Ksh 600.
This is the best price tag for the Tecno Camon CX Air in the market so far. Whether the retailer is making this a permanent discount is still unknown, but due to the uncertainties of the situation, it’s better to grab the deal as soon as possible.
To give you a highlight of what you are about to get, the Camon CX Air comes with a similar design and size as the high-end Camon CX. The screen is a 5.5-inch panel with a 720p resolution, but you miss out on the 2.5D glass that only appears on the standard CX. Under the hood, the phone has a MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor that has a clock speed of 1.25GHz and is mated with 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable storage.
For the cameras, the Camon CX Air has 13MP sensors on the back and front, promising some impressive shots, especially for selfie lovers. Keeping the phone alive is a decent 3200mAh battery unit and like its high-end counterpart, you get a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, support for 4G LTE connectivity and Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
