It is no longer a doubt that India has become a crucial market for not just many smartphone industries, but tech industries in general.
Samsung is one such company, with lots of its midrange and entry-level phones finding a home in this growing market. This is set to go on with the introduction of Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro this coming week starting Wednesday 18.
Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro was launched in China towards the end of last year. Just recently, a series of leaks came in showing off the other upcoming members of the Galaxy C Pro series, namely Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro. However, the latest reports don’t touch on the two new members of series Samsung has not yet presented them to the world.
India will be joining the likes of Thailand, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Malaysia in being among the few markets that can buy the phablet Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro. Even though the price details of the phone in the Indian market are still unknown, local observers claim that the C9 Pro could be priced more than the Galaxy A9 Pro, giving the former a price of about Rs 32,000.
Despite being such a substantially huge amount for a midrange phone in a market where you can find the likes of OnePlus 3T, Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro has quite an impressive set of specs and features as well. For starters, there is a huge 6-inch Super AMOLED screen with full HD resolution and stereo speakers. However, the phone is powered by a midrange Snapdragon 653 SoC that is paired with a huge RAM of 6GB. Samsung went for 64GB of expandable storage and USB-C port, among other latest connectivity standards.
Given its huge price tag, the Galaxy C9 Pro also comes with an equally huge battery unit of 4000mAh with fast charging technology as well as a fingerprint scanner. In terms of cameras, the phone ships with 16MP sensors on both the front and selfie cameras.
With the launch date set for January 18, we’ll be here to let you know the price of the phone when it is finally made available.
