Samsung Galaxy A3 2017 cleared by Wi-Fi Alliance with Android 7.0 Nougat, release may happen soon

Samsung Galaxy A3 2017

Just this week, Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 and Galaxy A7 2017 were cleared by the Wi-Fi Alliance with Android 7.0 Nougat on board.

The pair was released alongside the entry-level Galaxy A3 2017, but the phone was not in the list of devices certified by the WFA as far as receiving Android 7.0 Nougat is concerned. It was obvious that it won’t be long before the A3 2017 gets the same treat and this is exactly what is happening.

The Galaxy A3 2017 has just stopped by the WFA with Android 7.0 Nougat running the show, a confirmation that Samsung is getting ready to update the phone to the latest OS in the coming days or weeks for that matter. We don’t know the exact date of release, but we can guarantee that it won’t be long before you receive the OTA notification to download the OS on your phone.

Released earlier this year, the Galaxy A3 2017 came preinstalled with Android Marshmallow despite the existence of Nougat. But Samsung now wants you to have the new dessert on the phone, probably by the end of this month or early next month. We’ll let you know when the update starts rolling out. Stay tuned.
