OnePlus 3 and 3T Get HydrogenOS Beta Updates with Fixes for Alarm Issues and More

OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T HydrogenOS 3.0

OnePlus 3 and 3T users in China are currently receiving a new update to their devices, which have the HydrogenOS skin running on top of Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

Those using the original OnePlus 3 are currently receiving HydrogenOS beta 13 while those using the newer OnePlus 3T are currently receiving HydrogenOS beta 7. Both updates are rolling out over the air and as usual, they come with a bunch of improvements in stability and performance as well as fixes for stubborn bugs and issues.

Those who have been experiencing an issue where the alarm on their OnePlus 3 or OnePlus 3T Clock apps wasn’t ringing should lead the way in downloading and installing this new update. In addition, there have been reported cases of issues with the black and white theme’s display. Well, this update solves this problem. If you have been experiencing issues related to the Contacts app, this is the update you can’t afford to miss.

As noted earlier, these updates are rolling out over the air and as such, they’ll take some time before all OnePlus 3 and 3T units are able to download and install it. You can try a manual update by going to Settings>About phone>System updates, but there’s really no need for that if it only takes less than a few days before the update hits all units.
