If you have been experiencing an issue with your Tecno N8S, where MPESA messages were always delaying, making you think that a transaction is not through, there’s a solution available right now.
Apparently, those who own this Tecno N8S phone and have been going through this problem can download and install a small update that solves the problem. The update is rolling out over the air (OTA) and as such, all users of the phones can expect to receive a notification that prompts them to download and install the fix.
The company hasn’t confirmed whether there’s any other feature or addition that the rolling out OTA update brings to the Tecno N8S. We can’t confirm whether there’s also anything to do with monthly security updates that Google avails for all Android devices in order to prevent any potential attacks on the devices. Still, we should be able to know more details sooner than later.
The Tecno N8S was released last year and is actually still a new phone in the Kenyan market. Packing a 5-inch HD display screen, the phone is powered by a MediaTek MT6580 processor that is paired with a RAM of 1GB. Being an entry-level phone, you get a mere 8GB of storage space, but this can be expanded via a microSD card of up to 32GB.
For the optics, you get a 5MP camera on the back that is supported by autofocus (AF) and LED flash whereas the front gets a 2MP lens for selfies, which should only deliver great photos when in similarly great lighting conditions. At the moment, the Tecno N8S is available at Safaricom for ksh 8,399, but you might get better deals at online retailers such as Jumia, KiliMall or even PigiaMe.
