Finally, LG Electronics has unveiled an official e-commerce website for the Kenyan market, allowing citizens of the East African country to purchase their products directly from the company rather than from third-party retailers such as Jumia and Kilimall.
This is a good move by the South Korean tech giant, especially at a time when the consumer demand in the country is on the rise. The LG e-shop has been branded LG Brand Shop and it will be your new home for all things LG. Here, the company says that you will be able to browse and shop for a wide range of electronics and home appliances, products that have largely been available through major online retailers in the country.
According to Janghoon Chung, the LG Managing Director for East and Central Africa, the new LG Brand Shop will enable Kenyans to enjoy 24-hour access to the company’s products and that customers will also be able to enjoy a full year of free insurance for products worth Ksh 60,000 and more. Furthermore, all products purchased on the platform will include a 2-year warranty, something that is rarely offered by other retailers in the country.
The LG Brand Shop joins seven other retail stores located in the country in providing Kenyans with easy access to LG products, be it on their PCs, smartphones or tablets, regardless of where they are countrywide.
Unlike other online retailers in the country, the LG Brand Shop will provide Kenyans with free delivery of their products.
