[Update: This should be the Infinix Zero 5] Leaked Infinix Note 4 Pro (X603) Specs include 6GB RAM and 64GB Storage, Release Imminent

Infinix Note 4

Infinix Mobility is working on a new device dubbed Infinix Note 4 (and a possible Note 4 Pro), however, specific details of this phone are still dotted.

At the moment, Infinix Mobility is not the best of OEMs when it comes to naming its phones. So far, the rumored Infinix Note 4 is expected to succeed the 2016 Note 3 phablet, which came with model number X601. Before the Note 3, the company had released the Note 2 that carried model number X600 and if this sequence is to be maintained, the upcoming Infinix Note 4 should come with model number X602.

On the contrary, last year’s Infinix Zero 4 Plus has model number X602 (the standard Zero 4 has model number X555), which rules out this number from being re-used on a different device. Now, according to a listing on GFXBench, an unknown Infinix phone has been benchmarked with model number X603. If history is to be considered, it’s possible that this is the Infinix Note 4 or rather the Note 4 Pro.

According to the benchmarks, the alleged Infinix Note 4 Pro will ship with a massive 6-inch display screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, same as the Note 3. This is contrary to a recent revelation that placed this screen size at 5.7 inches. Under the hood, the phone will be powered by a MediaTek MT6757CD octa-core processor, which is also known as the Helio P25. This processor has a clock speed of 2.3GHz and is mated with a massive RAM of 6GB alongside 64GB of internal storage.

In terms of cameras, you get a 13MP shooter on the back with support for autofocus, face detection, HDR and LED flash while the front has a 5MP shooter. Interestingly, the front camera can record up to 2K videos while the main camera only manages 1080p videos. Software-wise, the alleged Infinix Note 4 Pro has Android 7.0 Nougat running the show.

Now, it’s important to note that this listing doesn’t confirm that this is indeed the Infinix Note 4 or even Note 4 Pro, but looking at previous model numbers of the Infinix Note series, it’s possible that this is actually the successor to the Infinix Note 3 (X601) family. In short, take this with a grain of salt, at least for now.

Update: Infinix Mobility has already unveiled the Note 4 and Note 4 Pro and as it stands, none of the duo matches what the leaked Infinix X603 brings to the table. This leaves us with only one possibility – that this could be the upcoming flagship Infinix Zero 5. We can’t guarantee this, but we should get more details in the coming days. Stay tuned.
