Software updates can be really good when they work accordingly, however, you don’t want to be on the opposite side of the spectrum – a side which some OnePlus 3T have found themselves following the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat update.
Released last month, it appears that some OnePlus 3T users are unable to make VoLTE calls following the update to Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The update in question carries software version O2OS 170324 and apparently, it removes the button that is used for enabling VoLTE in the 3T Settings app.
Note that this is not happening to every OnePlus 3T user, with some still able to enjoy VoLTE calls on their devices following the update to v7.1.1 Nougat. However, the few unlucky ones have taken to the official OnePlus forum to air their frustrations in the hope that the OEM will take note and roll out a fix as soon as possible. As seen in the screenshot below, there VoLTE button is missing from the Settings app for some users.
Well, it’s now over two weeks and OnePlus has yet to come in with a solution (or even respond) to this annoying problem. There’s a new Open Beta update being rolled out by the company to both OnePlus 3T and the original OnePlus 3 and apparently, this version also carries the same issue.
As noted, OnePlus has yet to respond to this matter, but we hope it does sooner than later. We’ll let you know when a fix is available for download.
