Huawei Mate 8 Android Nougat OTA (vB575) Starts Rolling Out

Android 7.0 Nougat update for Infinix Zero, Infinix Zero 4 Plus and Infinix Note 3

Huawei Mate 8 seems to be receiving the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OTA, at least for those using the phone from China.

The phone was already on an update that had updated its software version to NXT-DL00C17B573, which is also based on Android 7.0 Nougat and the latest EMUI 5.0, there is a new version that has already begun rolling out carrying model number NXT-DL00C17B575 and just like other beta versions, it is based on the new EMUI skin.

According to the supplied changelog, the new update will indeed pack a lot of updates for Huawei Mate 8 owners led by the updated EMUI 5.0. The OTA should also come in with the latest Android Security Patch.

Given that the Huawei Mate 8 model that is receiving the Nougat treat has model number NXT-DL00C, it is an indicator that this update is meant for the Chinese variant, at least for now. But Android Soul notes that this same update is also available for the dual-SIM variant of the phone as well.
