Huawei Honor 5C is set to be updated to the latest Android 7.0 Nougat in the coming weeks, if not days.
The company has officially begun testing the new OS on the Honor 5C (NEM-L22), with the stable version expected to be out very soon. Like the stable version of the OS, Android 7.0 Nougat beta for the said Honor 5C will be based on the latest EMUI 5.0 skin. However, we can’t be sure how long the testing will take, but looking at past events, it shouldn’t be long before the update starts rolling out.
Launched in May 2016, the Huawei Honor 5C is also known as Honor 7 Lite or Honor GT3 depending with the market in question. Like many other phones unveiled last year, the phone comes with Android Marshmallow out of the box. As for the rest of the specs, there is a 5.2-inch display screen that comes with a Full HD resolution. Under the hood, the Honor 5C comes with a Kirin 650 processor that is clocked at a speed of 2.0GHz. This chipset is paired with a RAM of 2GB and 16GB of storage.
On the back of the Honor 7 Lite is a 13MP shooter while the front has an 8MP selfie camera. As usual, you get dual-SIM support alongside a huge 3000mAh battery unit.
