LG G5 was the first phone to receive Android 7.0 Nougat via an OTA update, but the initial rollout begun in South Korea.
After making the Nougat update available for LG G5 users in South Korea, the tech giant shipped the same OS to those in the U.S., with Sprint leading the way as far as receiving it is concerned. While the same update has slowly been making to G5 users in other parts of the world, it is only now that those in the Philippines can speak the same language.
The availability of Android 7.0 Nougat OTA files for LG G5 users in the Asian country was announced by the country’s LG branch via its Twitter handle. As noted earlier, the Philippines will now be joining those in South Korea, the U.S., Canada, Europe as well as South America (Brazil) in receiving the Nougat treat.
