According to a new report coming from South Korea, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 FE (Fan Edition) will be released on July 7, which is actually next week Friday.
This is not the first time that such a development has popped up. Back in May, a similar report came up, claiming that the Galaxy Note 7 FE will be unveiled in early July and with this new development, it only serves to add more weight to the previous report.
In addition to giving us details of the expected release date, this report also sheds some light on the pricing of the refurbished Samsung Galaxy Note 7, where the phone is expected to command a price tag of 699,600 Korean Won. This is also the same price tag that had been talked about earlier, a figure that translates to about $615.
The Galaxy Note 7 FE will first be released in South Korea and so far, we know that it will be sold via the country’s three major carriers that include KT, SKT and LG U+. In terms of specs, the Note 7 FE will keep the same specs and features as the original model, but there will be one major change – the battery capacity dropping from 3500mAh to 3200mAh, which is still not bad at all.
Other specs include a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with QHD resolution, an Exynos 8890 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage, and a camera combination of 12MP/5MP. Software-wise, Android 7.0 Nougat will run the show out of the box.
