Deal: Google offering 20% off Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL to “Loyal” Nexus owners

If you consider yourself as a “loyal” Google Nexus owner, you might want to check your email because there’s some interesting news in there.

As a way to appreciate your being loyal to the now dead Nexus brand, Google is offering 20% off the latest Pixel 2 phones via its official online store. The deal will be applied at checkout, where you get to pay about $520 for the 64GB Pixel 2 and $680 for the same storage option of the bigger Pixel 2 XL.

Considering the initial asking prices of the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, these are for sure great prices. However, one thing that we cannot confirm is who Google really considers as a “loyal” Nexus user, but we’d like to believe this will affect those who purchased their Nexus phone directly from the Google Store.

Note that this deal will not show up when you visit the Google Store via the normal channels, rather, it is specific to those who receive the said email. The email has a “Shop Now” link that will redirect you to the online shop.

Another thing worth noting is that the deal is limited to time. So, if you receive the email, make sure to use the 20% off before February 28. At the moment, we still aren’t sure if the deal is limited to the U.S. market, but it’s likely.
