As it stands, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is the newest Note phablet from Samsung on the market right now.
With the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 Fan Edition set to go on sale on July 7 and the Galaxy Note 8 release not so far away, the 2015 flagship can now be yours at a massively discounted price on Kilimall.
The Kenyan retailer has listed the Galaxy Note 5 at a price of just Ksh 33,899. This is a great deal especially since this phone is usually priced at no less than Ksh 50,000, however, you will not be getting a brand new Note 5. Instead, this is a used model, but it is still in a great working condition.
The Galaxy Note 5 comes with a decent package that includes a huge 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display screen with a QHD resolution and Gorilla Glass 4 on top. Under the hood, the phone packs a powerful Samsung-made Exynos 7420 SoC that is mated with a 4GB RAM and 32GB of non-expandable storage. Even though the phone comes with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box, there’s an update to Android 7.0 Nougat ready for download.
The back camera has a decent 16MP shooter while the front gets a 5MP lens. Both sensors have the same f/1.9 aperture, but it’s the main shooter that ships with all the bells and whistles you’d expect to find in a flagship camera, including OIS, AF and 4K video recording.
The battery keeping the phone alive is a decent 3000mAh unit that supports fast charging technology. You also get support for wireless charging alongside standard features such as a front-mounted fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE and Bluetooth 4.2. Also, the Galaxy Note 5 has an S-Pen alongside support for Samsung Pay, but the latter feature is not yet supported in Kenya.
