After using Samsung Galaxy S8, other phones feel like going back to the 90s – Check out these hilarious comments from S8 users

Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+

Samsung Galaxy S8 is without a doubt setting standards for other smartphones looking to compete in the flagship market.

The design of the phone is just something else. Those curvy edges and close to no bezels on the bottom and top ends gives the Galaxy S8 a massive display screen yet keeping it compact enough to fit into any hand, even for those people with the smallest hands possible.

In fact, since the Galaxy S8 and S8+ came to life, we’ve been seeing quite a number of leaks regarding the iPhone 8 and Google Pixel 2 claiming that the both Apple and Google will be taking a similar path with these 2017 flagships. If anything, the only reason one would go after a similar design as Samsung’s is that the design rocks and is definitely the best out there.

Looking at what people have to say about the Galaxy S8 compared to other phones they come across adds more weight to this argument. When compared to the iPhone 7 Plus or even iPhone 6S Plus, one commenter notes that the latter feels like a brick or simply ancient. In fact, another notes that iPhones are a disgrace to the smartphone world when it comes to the design language, something that Apple would be willing to change when the iPhone 8 comes to life later this year.

When compared to the Galaxy Note 4, it feels like going back to the 1990s or rather going from Blue-ray to a VCR, another notes. Others are even feeling pain inside when they set their eyes on other phones like the Moto G, Galaxy S6 Edge+ or even the Galaxy Note 7. “I have the original iPhone. I’m amazed anyone loved something with a small screen and the form factor of a fat tick,” another S8 user points out.

Despite the rave comments current Galaxy S8 owners are throwing around regarding the phone, others are not so impressed, noting that dropping the phone could be one’s worst experience as it’d definitely crack. This is true thanks to the fact that the S8 is almost all glass, but you still get the best of protection from Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5.
